Pontoon Rentals in Bemidji, MN

We only rent Pontoons. 

We rent our boats for full days, or multiple days only. 

Our 1-day rental is 8 am - 6 pm. How long you use the boat is up to you. 

We do not have an Hourly or half day rate. 

When you book you can choose your launch time 8, 8:30 9, 9:30, 10, 10:30 or 11 am. Fuel is included in your single day Lake Bemidji rental

- Multi-day rentals - It's your boat - no need to "return it" each night .

However, you must have a boat slip to dock it in and you cannot be out after dark.

- Multi-day discounts are automatically applied in our booking system

- Fuel is NOT included in a multi-day rental

- There are no refunds or discounts for early returns on Single or Multi-day rentals.

- Your boats must returned by 6 pm on the latest that last day of your boat rental. Charges will apply for late returns.

$495 for a Single day rental., which includes your fuel usage.

The daily rate is DISCOUNTED automatically the more consecutive days you rent. For the length of the day we provide, the quality of our boats, you will find we are way below industry standard. You get a lot of bang for your buck!

By booking a boat you agree to our 14 day, 24 hour and same day Cancellation policy,
If you cancel within 15 days of your rental The 25% deposit is non-refundable 
If you cancel within 48 hours of your rental, 50% of your booking will be charged. 

Same day cancellations, 100% of your rental is charged

Severe Weather? The safety of our clients is a our first priority. We do not permit rentals to go out if it is unsafe to go out, high winds or storming. This is under our discretion. 

If we do not permit you to go out on the water, due to severe weather, you will not be charged and you will be issued a refund.  

This is not applicable if you find it "cold", or "windy", or if you have a bad weather day during your multi-day rental. 

A $75 fee will apply to all same-day cancellations no matter the reason.

For Lake Bemidji we meet you at the public landing on the SW side of the Lake, near the Green Mill. 

Yes we deliver to other nearby lakes, but for MULTI-DAY RENTALS ONLY.

- Lakes like Blackduck and Cass Lake. 

- There is a delivery charge of $150 and will be applied when you book and input your delivery option and address. 

 - 21 yrs of age of older

ARE YOU A MINNESOTA RESIDENT? 

As of JULY 2025, all Minnesota residents—regardless of age—are required to have a valid Boater Safety Permit to operate a RENTAL boat.

WHO IS EXEMPT?
You have a USGC issued Captains Licence
You are from or your drivers licence is from another State.
You have your full Boat Owners Safety Permit class card already

At XCape Boat Rentals, safety is our top priority. Upon your arrival one of our team members will provide you with a thorough Boat Orientation and Safety briefing before you set out on the water, so you are comfortable with the boat. 

Be sure your entire party is present and on time for your scheduled launch to load your gear and participate in the orientation. Plan for 20 - 30 min.

Yes! We’re dog lovers ourselves and know many pups enjoy a day on the water just as much as their owners. 🐾

That said, every dog is different. We simply ask that your pet be well-behaved and comfortable around boats. 

Any damage to the pontoon caused by a pet (scratches, chewing, or tears to upholstery, etc.) will be the renter’s financial responsibility.

We also recommend bringing a towel or blanket for your dog to sit on to help protect the seats and keep everyone comfortable.

For a Single Day Lake Bemidji Rental - Fuel is included. 

Multi-day it is just like a rental car, your Boat Rental will come with a full tank, and upon return we ask that you fill it up prior to return.

If we will fill it up, additional fees plus fuel will be applied and charged

If you plan to put a line in the water, yes you will need one. Resident or non-resident of MN, you can get one online here: https://www.dnr.state.mn.us/licenses/fishing/index.html

Our Boat rental season is from May through September. We are open 7 days a week so you can make those special spring, summer & fall memories with stress-free rentals. 

You can call in to request an evening cruise. 

They are only available on Tuesdays - Thursdays
